WorldLink converting all customers to new technology IPV Six within a year

By the end of this fiscal year, WorldLink will have taken all its customers to IPv6. The company has unveiled an ambitious plan with the objective of providing quality internet service to the customers.

Every device connected to the Internet needs an IP address to communicate with each other. This is an address called Internet Protocol (IP) address.

There are two versions of IP address. One version is Four (V Four) and the other is Six (V Six). Which is being distributed by an international body called Address Internet Assign Number Authority (IANA).

The initial version also has 4 billion 300 million public addresses in the forum. Due to which its quota ended on April 15, 2011. As a result, most Internet service providers now rely on Network Address Translation (NAAT) technology for the use of private addressing to solve the problem of lack of Public V4.

The latest version of this protocol is IPv6. It allows for the assignment of unique routable public addresses to communicate with every connected device around the world. There are so many IP addresses in IPV Six that will never end. As a result, it has the ability to assign separate routing addresses to every device connected to the Internet in the world.

It does not require NAT technology, so it has better internet access in the IPv6 than in the IPv4. Currently, content service providers like Google and Facebook have been providing content even in Ivy Six.

According to WorldLink, out of the company’s four lakh customers, one lakh 55 thousand have already joined the Six Protocol network. Users of V6 use 20 percent of the total Internet traffic delivered by WorldLink, or 165 GB.

According to data from the Asia-Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) Google and Facebook, about 26 percent of the world’s networks are currently in V-Six. Similarly, 11 percent of Nepal’s network has gone IPV Six. Worldlink claims to have contributed the most. This has made the Internet not only faster and wider, but also easier for government and regulatory bodies to track illegal activity.

And that is the end of the topic: ‘WorldLink converting all customers to new technology IPV Six within a year

Published

on

After Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) game developers recently launched the official trailer of PUBG Mobile 2 or PUBG: New State, there were speculations on the return of PUBG Mobile India, which is banned in the country since September 2020 due privacy and national security concerns.

Besides that, the game was also listed on the Google Play Store for pre-registration, while the pre-order for the Apple App Store will be opening soon. The social media post about the announcement read, “Coming in 2021, PUBG: NEW STATE features the most realistic battle royale experience you will find on mobile. Players will be able to drop in and explore a new map that expands the lore, experience graphics that push the limits of mobile gaming, master the best and most dynamic gunplay on the market, and enjoy next-generation survival features that evolve the battlegrounds.”

However, now it looks like the game isn’t going to come back anytime soon. The social media post about the announcement read, “Coming in 2021, PUBG: NEW STATE features the most realistic battle royale experience you will find on mobile. Players will be able to drop in and explore a new map that expands the lore, experience graphics that push the limits of mobile gaming, master the best and most dynamic gunplay on the market, and enjoy next-generation survival features that evolve the battlegrounds.” However, this is not for Indian users as the game is banned in the country. When they visit the game’s page on the Google Play Store, they will receive an error.

Artificial Intelligence(AI)

Published

on

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry.  “AI is a computer system able to perform tasks that ordinarily require human intelligence. Many of these artificial intelligence systems are powered by machine learning, some of them are powered by deep learning and some of them are powered by very boring things like rules.”

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE EXAMPLES

  • Smart assistants (like Siri and Alexa)
  • Disease mapping and prediction tools
  • Manufacturing and drone robots
  • Optimized, personalized healthcare treatment recommendations
  • Conversational bots for marketing and customer service
  • Robo-advisors for stock trading
  • Spam filters on email
  • Social media monitoring tools for dangerous content or false news
  • Song or TV show recommendations from Spotify and Netflix

Artificial intelligence generally falls under two broad categories:

1.Narrow Artificial Intelligence:-

Narrow AI is all around us and is easily the most successful realization of artificial intelligence to date. With its focus on performing specific tasks, Narrow AI has experienced numerous breakthroughs in the last decade that have had “significant societal benefits and have contributed to the economic vitality of the nation,” according to “Preparing for the Future of Artificial Intelligence,” a 2016 report released by the Obama Administration.

A few examples of Narrow AI include:

  • Google search
  • Image recognition software
  • Siri, Alexa and other personal assistants
  • Self-driving cars
  • IBM’s Watson

2.Artificial General Intelligence:-

The creation of a machine with human-level intelligence that can be applied to any task is the Holy Grail for many AI researchers, but the quest for AGI has been fraught with difficulty. AGI has long been the muse of dystopian science fiction, in which super-intelligent robots overrun humanity, but experts agree it’s not something we need to worry about anytime.

The virtual digital assistants have changed the way w do our daily tasks. Alexa and Siri have become like real humans we interact with each day for our every small and big need. The natural language abilities and the ability to learn themselves without human interference are the reasons they are developing so fast and becoming just like humans in their interaction only more intelligent and faster. AI makes every process better, faster, and more accurate. It has some very crucial applications too such as identifying and predicting fraudulent transactions, faster and accurate credit scoring, and automating manually intense data management practices. Artificial Intelligence improves the existing process across industries and applications and also helps in developing new solutions to problems that are overwhelming to deal with manually.

Update of Internet service to 5G(NTC)

Published

on

Last year MoCIT had directed Nepal Telecom to include 4 cities for a 5G trail in its 4G deal. We suppose they already made a provision on the 5G part being in line with the directives from MoCIT.  Finally, Nepal Telecom is starting a Feasibility study of 5G Technology in Big cities of Nepal soon. Telecom will test this super-fast network in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar & Birgunj in the first phase.

Although people have started speculating the 5G network in Nepal, it seems to be a very early stage as the regular NTA had no preparations for assigning the 5G spectrum band, one of the key requirements to roll out 5G. There are beliefs that Nepal cannot afford 5G for now due to the huge investment. Similarly, some people opine that the country is not ready for 5G due to the limitation of its uses. Some even go further to say Nepal does not 5G at all for 5 years. But as people blame telecom companies to bring 4G late here in Nepal, it is high time that we start discussing 5G. The time has come for the whole telecom industry in Nepal including telecom companies, vendors and the regulator prepare well in advance for the 5G network, including the allocation of 5G spectrum band.
In the present time, many mobile phones are launch with the support feature of the fastest internet service which is 5G in Nepal also. So, to use the feature of 5G Nepal telecom bring the 5G service in it. At first, it tries in 4 cities then it boosts its service all the cities of Nepal.
