The online class increased the time spent on the screen, worrying about mental and physical problems

School campuses have been closed for the past six months due to coronavirus infection. Thus, all children and students are being educated online.

But a survey found that 79 percent of children are studying online from a smartphone. Only 21 percent use laptops and computers for online classes.

About 60 percent of children spend up to four hours studying online. For this, applications like Zoom, Meet, Teams are being used the most.

Psychiatrists have warned that spending too much time online can lead to behavioral problems in children. The fact that this study was conducted on 10,000 students from about 400 cities in India is similar to that of neighboring Nepal.

According to Vidyasarthi’s research, about one third of the children are studying in the online system created in their school. It has been described as better than other existing security options.

As the use of the online classroom grows, so do the problems it causes. According to the survey, 31 percent of students have a problem of not being able to focus during online classes.

Twelve percent of the children said that they could not tell their teacher about the harassment in the online class. Due to which, the solution of their problem is not coming a.

Mental and physical problems as time goes on online

As online is a new system, there is no alternative to adopting it. However, psychiatrists have expressed concern that spending too much time online can cause mental health problems in children.

Staying online for more than three hours a day can affect their interactions with real life. This way they can get lost in the virtual world. Their confidence in normal life begins to wane.

They will often feel empty and will look for solutions to their problems in the virtual world instead of their parents or friends. Being online for a long time reduces physical activity.

Having to stay in the same place for a long time due to online can increase the problem of back pain and also reduce sleep. Psychiatrists have warned that this could lead to increased irritability.

When sports time is reduced, they will not be able to develop social behavior and they may lose themselves. To avoid this kind of harassment, psychiatrists advise your children not to have online classes for more than three hours a day and five days a week.

Homework time for children should not be more than four hours a week. If children are taking three to four hours of online classes, other members of the household should focus on reducing the screen time of TV, computer, mobile, etc.

It is necessary to use the blue filter while reading. During this time the mobile or laptop has to be kept in the right position. Which will help to do even the body’s problem. It is important to take a break after every 40 minutes.

Online classes are now operating as an alternative. But it will not be able to complete the lessons that can be done from the general class.

Online classes are difficult to teach children to solve problems. Online classes will not be able to cover topics such as sitting in a classroom, having a straightforward logical debate on a subject, and learning to deal with your classmates.

And that is the end of the topic: The online class increased the time spent on the screen, worrying about mental and physical problems

Apple event to be held on September 15, iPhone Twelve?

Amidst many rumors, Apple’s next big event is scheduled to take place on September 15 (September 30). The company has just announced that its annual fruit event will start on September 15 at 10:45 pm Nepali time.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 is expected to go public with this event. Which will be the first phone to adopt the company’s FiveG technology.

Sales of smartphones were expected to slow this year due to FiveG. On top of that, Kovid pushed the plan back a bit.

This epidemic raises another question. Is the company really ready to release the iPhone 12 next year? Or do we just have to wait for the next virtual event?

Due to Kovid, the global smartphone market is facing the challenge of declining sales even today. For the same reason, there have been analyzes that the iPhone may not have been in such a hurry to compete with FiveG.

The Kovid epidemic has severely affected the supply chain of many industries. Last July, the company said that the iPhone 12 would be released only a few weeks later due to Kovid.

Which was an unexpected move by the company. Even the present time was unexpected in itself. This event seems to be limited to the Apple Watch. Which will continue to be the company’s best-selling device.

Based on various rumors, the device focuses on health monitoring, including measuring the amount of oxygen in the blood and heart rate. Not only that, it will also have a longer battery life, latest watch OS and sleep tracking technology.

And that is the end of the topic: Apple event to be held on September 15, iPhone Twelve?

Nepali contributions are being added to Wikipedia in this way

If you have a curiosity about a word, an event, a person, or any subject, don’t turn the book over. You type that word directly into the web browser of your mobile or computer. Then at the top you see the information on Wikipedia.

Sometimes when you search inside the Google search engine you see a box at the top right. There is detailed information about the topic you are looking for and below is Wikipedia. Many people think of it as a dedicated page of Google.

But Wikipedia is not a product or page of Google. This is a separate website. This is a separate non-profit informational page operated by the Wikimedia Foundation.

The Google search engine also considers Wikipedia to be a reliable source of information, so it ranks higher in the top right of Google due to its metadata.

Most of the Wikipedia articles and pages we see are in English. But you may not know that Wikipedia is written in 313 languages. Wikipedia, like Google, transmits so many articles and information to its pages through crowdsourcing.

Wikipedia is a product of the non-profit organization Wikimedia. It works especially well in donations. Overseas students donate some money after reading something from Wikipedia. But in Nepal, there is neither a level of awareness to donate, nor a payment channel.

Due to this lack of awareness and information, Nepali content and Nepali language content are very rare in Wikipedia. Today, if we have to write about a US president or a city, we can find history on Wikipedia, but if we search about the Prime Minister of Nepal, KP Oli, we can find nothing but general information.

If a 10th grader is told something about a Nepali musician, he or she will not be able to find enough information on Wikipedia.

In order to solve this problem and to disseminate all the information and articles about Nepal and Nepal on a global platform like Wikipedia, volunteer contributions are being made at the community level in Nepal as well. But this community has not been registered yet.

And that is the end of the topic: Nepali contributions are being added to Wikipedia in this way
